On the lidar (or lack thereof) -- Rivian is working hard on autonomy of course, but the chances that it will be any time soon and work at the L4 (eyes-off) level with the hardware being shipped in the vehicles this year is essentially zero. I would not hold off expecting that the lidar equipped units are going to be L4 capable.
